Here at the Arrow 107.1 FM we strive to bring you a wide range of music and spoken word content to the community. The following are some spoken word shows that we think you will enjoy, and be sure to check out our schedule to see when they play!


Local Programming:

Gord's Barking Dog Blues: Your host Gordon brings you some choice tracks from some of his favourite live concerts.

Bunty's Got them Blues: A listen back to the music that started it all, a classic blues show presented by our local DJ Bunty Maxfield that gives us a chance to hear that classical blues vinyl.

Drea's Variety Show: An hour-long compilation of song and spoken word on a weekly theme.

Legendary Tunes: Phil McMechan presents classic blues, jazz and roots from the 1940's to 2010. Bringing you some of the most interesting and inspiring artists of all time.

What I Like: Brought to you by your host Chris Ewings, the show title is self expanatory. Some adult language.

Valley of Water: Locally created documentary on the Columbia River Treaty and it's effects on the region.

Village Council/Community Meetings: Normally comprised of a recording of Nakusp's Bi-Monthly Village Council Meetings, this time slot can also be pre-empted by other noteworthy Community Meetings.

Meli-Melo: A 100% organic and fairly hosted French spoken word show. Hosted by Prudence-Elise Breton and Lyne Chartier and produced in Nelson for 93.5FM.
